Art Alive Gallery partners with a lifestyle club

New Delhi, August 19 (IANS): Art Alive Gallery has announced a partnership with The Quorum, a contemporary members-only social work and lifestyle club, as new artistic contributors to their clubs – The Quorum Gurugram and The Quorum Mumbai.

Through this collaboration, the gallery looks forward to expanding its presence at Gurugram, showcasing exclusive collections of modern and contemporary art from masters, mid-career artists and emerging contemporaries.

The Quorum Gurugram Alley was designed as a place to showcase artists and innovators and provide them with a space that nurtures creativity. The gallery says this makes it the perfect platform to host Art Alive’s exhibitions and conferences, artist interactions and book launches, among other creative initiatives.

A selection of works of art from the gallery’s collection will also be exhibited in the other areas of the club.

The gallery’s expansion into the Gurugram club space will be inaugurated with the exhibition “Rearranging the Familiar”, curated by Premjish Achari, featuring works by emerging and mid-career contemporaries like Anjaneyulu G, Vipul Rathod, Anil Thambai, Vandana Kothari, Roshan Chhabria, Teja Gavankar, Sharmi Chowdhury and Meera George.

“We are very excited about this collaboration and share the vision of creating a nurturing aesthetic environment with a strong arts program at the club to help and promote a sense of creative inspiration and facilitate the growth of Indian art through the patronage,” said Sunaina Anand, Director, Art Vivant.
