JKAACL organizes an exhibition of art works created by students during the Long Painting Workshop week – India Education | Latest Education News | World Education News

POONCH: As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages ​​(JKAACL) Rajouri-Poonch today organized an exhibition of the artworks created during a week-long painting workshop, here at Christ School.

The painting workshop was organized for the winners of the on-site painting competition held earlier at the Boys Poonch Upper Public Secondary School.

In all, 36 budding young artists attend the workshop with great enthusiasm.

The workshop is conducted under the guidance of JKAACL Secretary, Rahul Panday and supervised by JKAACL Additional Secretary, Sanjeev Rana.

The event was organized with the support of the Poonch District Administration, the Director of Education and the Principal of Christ School.

Special Officer for Cultural Activities, (SOCA) Rajouri/Poonch Dr Alamdar Adam thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event. It encourages budding artists who prepare their painting on canvas and drawing sheets.

The dignitaries appreciated the works of art created by the students and advised them to continue their journey of creativity alongside the study of the creative works.

State Prize winner Tariq Mehmood Saifi was hired as an expert for the training of young artists during the week-long workshop.
