The summer exhibitions of Art Works are very varied. Emily Baker, inspired by the rolling landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains, presents an exhibition of the tangible and the obscure. The Richmond Photography Meet Up Group (RPMG) hosts its annual photography exhibition and abstract painter Dan Thompson offers COVID 2021. Local artists participate in the monthly All Media Show.

Recent works by Emily Baker

Emily Baker, inspired by the lush natural landscape of Virginia, presents an exhibition that explores the tangible and the obscure. His paintings provide a meditative outlet for reflection on the environmental elements that make up the earth as a whole, creating a visualization of the interconnected energy within our natural landscape. Emily marries this with her curiosity for organic structure and the evolution of form, producing works that are both tangible and obscure. Emily lives in Richmond, Virginia and holds a BFA from Radford University (2013).

The exhibition will be held at the Jane Sandelin Gallery.
