KUWAIT, Sept. 12 (KUNA) — A galaxy of charming paintings by Kuwaiti calligrapher Ali al-Badah and visual artist Fadhel al-Rais are on display at the Museum of Modern Art, affiliated with the National Council of Culture, of Arts and Literature (NCCAL).
Al-Badah’s works focused on Arabic calligraphy with its various forms which included verses from the Holy Quran and quotes from poets.
Al-Rais’ collection combines the fragrance and spirit of abstract plastic art with Arabic calligraphy, creating remarkable paintings characterized by the blending of colors.
These works of art, which are displayed for a month as part of the Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition, are an additional value for the museum in order to attract those interested in this art. (end) yt.msa.hm
