Steel City Art Works to Host an Art Gallery Reception on September 3


PUEBLO, Colorado – Due to the increase in recent cases of COVID-19, the Art Gallery Opening Reception scheduled for Friday, September 3 will no longer be held. Gallery management says it will monitor the increase in cases and decide on dates for future open receptions month by month.

PUEBLO, Colo. – Steel City Art Works will be hosting an art gallery reception of “It’s a Little Bit Chile,” including a special exhibition of Alpha Mu Delta during the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, September 3 starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Complimentary packaged refreshments will be provided and the gallery exhibit will be open to the public for the remainder of the month.

Gallery artists to be featured include Kathy Chavez, a multi-media artist, Nancy Goodenough, a landscape and natural pastel artist, Mo Keenan-Mason, a folk art painter, and Jill Moring, a metal fabrication artist.

The contributions of the Alpha Mu Delta gallery will also be presented. The group has been around since 1925, founded by women to promote the Pueblo arts scene through music, art, drama, writing, weaving and clay crafts.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for in-person shopping hours. On weekdays, customers are invited to make an appointment by email here to shop in person at a selected time.
